WORLD SALVATION MINISTRIES

STATEMENT OF BELIEF

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified, dead and buried.

On the third day, He arose from the dead and ascended on high where He took His seat at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, until His enemies become His footstool.

We believe that in the rapture, the dead in Christ will rise first, and those who are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet with Jesus in the air.

We believe that after death, eternal life begins either in heaven or in hell, and where one spends eternity is based on the decision to live according to  God's words and commandments, or on the decision to rebel and deny His words and commandments.

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe the Bible is the written word of God inspired by God.

We believe faith is acting out on the word of God.

We  believe in divine Healing ( which is the restoration of health to one who believes and acts out on God's word), and that Jesus is the healer.

We further believe that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed.

We believe in tithing and bringing offerings into the local Church.

We also believe in giving Alms and caring for the poor, sick, homeless and otherwise unfortunate.

We also believe in water baptism in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the name of Jesus and the authority in that name.

Baptism in the Holy Ghost:

The Baptism in the Holy Ghost is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth.
This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. ( Matt 3:11, John 14:16,17, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:38,39, Acts 19:1-7, Acts 2:1-4).

Sanctification

The bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord.
We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definitive, yet progressive work of grace commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the time of consummation of salvation at Christ's return. ( Heb 12:14, 1 Thess 5:23, 2 Pet 3:18; Phil 3: 12-14; 1 Cor 1:30)

Divine Healing

Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for by the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every member of the church today. ( Mark 16:18, James 5: 14-15, 1 Pet 2:24, Matt 8:17, Is 53:4-5 )
